The company Polmont GmbH was founded in 1991 in Remscheid, Germany, by the General Manager Georg Miksik as a metal machining firm. The most important output of the company are cast iron components made to the unique wishes of our industrial customers.

The additional company - Polmont GmbH G. Miksik - was founded in 1994. The major activity of this company included the production and acquiring of cast aluminum, zinc, brass and magnesium components.

These two companies, operating independent of one another, today have a total staff of approximately 50 and are known as the Polmont Group. The Group moved its production facilities to Radevormwald in the fall of 2001 into a newly-built plant.

Along with a subsidiary in Poland and joint venture partners in Poland, India and several other countries, the Polmont Group has advanced from a small machining company to a well-known, highly-reputed, quality-oriented and competent partner in the areas of cast metal and machining, both within Germany, as well as beyond its borders.

The Polmont Group offers a full-service package, based on the motto: "If the customer wants it, then we'll do it!"
