The company Polmont GmbH Metall-Guss-Bearbeitung was founded in 1991 in Remscheid, Germany, by the General Manager Georg Miksik as a metal subcontractor firm, specialized on surface treatment. The additional company - Polmont GmbH G. Miksik - was founded in 1994. The major activity of this company included the production and acquiring of aluminum, zinc and magnesium Die-casting components.

These two companies, operating independent of one another, today have a total staff of approximately 80 employees and are known as the Polmont Group. The Group moved its production facilities to Radevormwald in the fall of 2001 into a newly-built plant. Along with a subsidiary in Poland and joint venture partners in Spain, Turkey and China, the Polmont Group has advanced from a small surface finisher company to a well-known, highly-reputed, quality-oriented and competent system supplier in the areas of cast metal and machining, both within Germany, as well as beyond its borders.

Also, the condition of our machines, our equipment, tools and testing devices all have a major impact on our quality. We therefore expect that every one of our employees handles this equipment carefully and that all of the personal items entrusted to him are tended to correctly.


We want to continually develop. We are totally dependent upon ideas coming from our staff, in order to optimize internal processes and the set up of the various workstations. We are also always on the look out for new procedures, methods and technologies.
